The headline: up to 75% off Claude’s Team and Enterprise plans. In practice, that means the Team plan starts around $8/user/month, with a Premium tier near $40 and Enterprise priced through sales (NonProfit PRO). At that price, it includes Claude Opus 4.6 for sophisticated work like grant writing and program analysis, plus Sonnet 4.5 and Haiku 4.5 for everyday tasks.
The part most “AI for nonprofits” roundups bury: direct connectors to Blackbaud, Candid, and Benevity — so Claude can work inside the fundraising and donor-data tools you already use, instead of you copy-pasting between systems (Claude Help Center).

Nonprofits: This is built specifically for you — 501(c)(3) status (or international equivalent) is the entry requirement. If your fundraising or donor data already runs through Blackbaud, Candid, or Benevity, the connectors alone are worth the switch.
Small businesses: Not eligible for this discount tier — it’s nonprofit-only. If you’re a small business, the standard Claude Team plan is the comparable option, and it’s worth pricing against whatever you’re paying for ChatGPT Business or Copilot today.

Where it falls short: if your organization doesn’t use any of the three connected platforms, you’re paying for a generic Claude subscription with extra paperwork to prove nonprofit status. And the verification step takes longer than signing up for ChatGPT or Gemini’s nonprofit programs — budget a few days, not a few minutes.
Bottom line: worth claiming if you’re already in Anthropic’s ecosystem or considering a switch from a costlier general-purpose plan. Not worth the application overhead if you just want to try AI for the first time — start with a free tier somewhere else, then come back here once you know what you actually need.
